THE CAMERA OBSCURA  

The camera obscura project requires a lot of precision and accuracy when making the obscura and taking your images with the obscura. I constructed my own obscura using a cardboard tube and tracing paper. Camera obscures can vary in size, from little cardboard tubes, to the size of a room. The positioning of the obscura is vital when taking the image. The lighting of  the image is key to the image showing up. I focused on the works of Abe Morell and Vera Lutter who constructed their own obscura's and captured images of famous architecture and used different editing techniques. ​
